Service Update - Coronavirus (COVID-19) July 2022

We are pleased to announce that it is now possible to book a face to face appointment with a Careers Adviser at the Harrow Youth Stop (Monday to Friday  9pm -4pm).


To book an appointment with one of the Careers Advisers call us on 020 8427 8617 or email us: harrowys@prospects.co.uk. If you prefer, request an appointment via our Live Chat facility by clicking on the Chat Now tab below.


Whilst we are not yet able to offer a drop-in service, we do look forward to receiving your requests for an appointment so we can discuss how best to support you.


In the meantime, you can keep in touch through social media and our website to get details on upcoming online events as and when they’re announced.

We will continue to provide the best support we can to help young unemployed people in Harrow. If you are aged 16-24 (with or without SEND and/or EHCP) and not in employment, education or training then our team of Careers Advisers will still be available to you;

Staying safe

The UK Government has issued instructions on what to do to stay safe and stop the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). 

         Stay at home

         Only go outside for food, health reasons or work (but only if you cannot work from home)

         If you go out, stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people at all times

         Wash your hands as soon as you get home

         Do not meet others, even friends or family.

         You can spread the virus even if you don’t have symptoms

Mental health and wellbeing support


The Free Mindfulness Project provide resources as a response to Covid-19.



Bereavement Care have a team of trained volunteers to support adults and children in the London Boroughs of Harrow and Hillingdon and the surrounding area who would like some help in coping with their bereavement. Bereavement Care is an established charity and services are given entirely free of charge and are completely confidential.



Young Minds can provide support if you are struggling with news about the coronavirus and it is affecting your mental health, have a look at their blog for advice and support.

Education support & online training

With schools closed for most students across the UK, continuing education through home schooling can be difficult to plan and maintain. Many schools are holding virtual lessons for students and there are some good live sessions provided by members of the public and celebrities on YouTube and Instagram.
